TwinFlame Development, LLC ("TF") operates www.twinflamedev.com, www.twinflameapp.com, www.twinflamematch.com, the TwinFlame mobile apps for iPhone and Android, the TwinFlame Apple TV app, the TwinFlame Daily Horoscope Alexa Skill, and the TwinFlame Horoscope API. We take your privacy seriously and respect the data that is yours.  We abide by our data goals:

 

When you share information with us, we protect it.

Your data is yours, we don’t share or sell it.

We don't store your information unless we need it for the core operations of our services.

We don’t ask you for information we don’t need.

Why and What We Gather:

Some of our users choose to interact with our app in ways that require us to ask for personal information.  What we gather depends on what that user wants to do. We only ask for what we need.

 

Making an Account:

Many of our services are personalized and protected by a user account & password.  We may ask our users for an email and an optional phone number to make the account. 

 

Psychological Quizzes & Assessments:

To provide psychology profiles we may ask for questionnaire answers and or writing.  These assessments do not capture personal information unless you choose to provide it in your essay writing.

 

Natal Charting:

Many of our products offer natal charting. To make a user’s natal chart we may ask for their date, time, and place of birth.

 

Social:

Our iPhone and Android apps have social interaction features.  You don’t have to use these. But if you do you agree to share some things with other TwinFlame users:

• You share your user or display name

• You share your astrological information (ex: your Natal Chart placements)

• You share your birth location

• You share your gender and matching preferences if you choose to

• You share your age if you chose to

• You share your avatar

• You share your pictures and photos if you choose to

 

We never share:

• Your phone number

• Your email

 

Location:

For our iPhone and Android apps, we use your phone’s location services to:

• Give you astrological insights that are tied to your location, such as your transits - these are made accurate based on your current location

• Give insight into users on how far they are from each other

 

We do not track your location in the background, nor do we share your location with other users in any specific way, other than to tell users how far they are from each other.

 

Age Verification:

Some of our services are best for adults and we take this seriously.  To verify age we may read the back of your driver’s license. We do this to verify your age.  We do not inspect or save any information from your license on any of our servers. The inspection of your license occurs only on your device and is not transmitted over any network.

 

Photo Verifications:

Where we provide functionality associated with photo sharing, we want to make sure you’re in your photos and prevent ‘fake profiles’ - we use facial recognition technology to make sure you are you.  Facial recognition is used only for this purpose.

 

In each case, TF collects information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the user’s interaction with the app.  You can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent you from engaging in certain activities on the website or app.

 

We do not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. 

 

Information You Choose To Publicly Display:

In our iPhone and Android apps, we allow you to post comments, participate in chat rooms (MegaChit-Chat), and message other users.  These are public and semi-public display areas.

Note that anything you post using these features is public. What you post can be viewed, collected and used by others. It is your choice to voluntarily disclose your user content and when you do, the protections of this Policy do not cover your disclosure(s).  Think carefully before you post, and use caution when sharing/posting any Personal Information.

 

Protection of Certain Personally-identifying Information:

TF does not rent or sell any information to anyone.

 

TF discloses potentially personally-identifying information only to those of its employees and customer service contractors who (i) need to know that information in order to provide customer service or develop TF products, and (ii) have agreed not to disclose it to others. These employees and contractors are based in the United States; by contacting TF in any capacity, you consent to the transfer of such information to them.

 

Additionally, we have third-party providers who are contractually obligated to protect your information without ever accessing it. These include IBM, Google, and Amazon, with whom we rent server space.

 

TF takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. We secure the information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

 

Analytics:

TF uses Google Analytics, an industry-standard third-party analytics provider, to better understand how people interact with our services.

 

The service collects non-personally-identifying information, such as the device type (e.g. iPhone 8) and behavior (like how often you look at your updates or how many times you’ve paid for something). This data does not include your contact information, your birth date, birth time, birthplace, or who your friends are.

 

Our purpose in collecting this non-personally identifying information is to understand how people use our products so that we can make them better for you. We do not sell or share this data with third parties and only use it to help make the experience better for you.

 

Data Retention and Deletion:

We store your data for as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, we permanently remove all data you have provided us or we have collected from our servers.

 

We may purge abandoned accounts, meaning accounts without activity for over a year.  When purged, we permanently remove all data you have provided us or we have collected from our servers.

 

Privacy Policy Changes:

Although most changes are likely to be minor, TF may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in TF’s sole discretion. We encourage users to frequently check this page for any changes to our Privacy Policy. Your continued use of the app or website after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
